- Sprouts are 3-day-old germinated plant seeds, they have a tail.
They germinate in a germination container in a moist environment, they do not need light. - Microgreens or microgreens are week-old shoots of plants, herbs and vegetables, growing and rooted in a medium (peat, coconut substrate, cotton wool).
They are a few cm tall and have a more intense flavour than sprouts. - Research shows that microgreens are more nutritionally valuable than their younger sprout friends.
